How we live matters

TruLife Group — real estate development, construction, and community investment in Texas.

TruLife Group is a real estate company headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas. Through three operating companies it develops multifamily rental communities, self-performs construction, builds luxury custom homes, and co-invests alongside its capital partners. Its first delivered community, LEO at Bethel Place in Weatherford, was developed, built, and co-owned by TruLife companies working together on a single asset.

TruLife Build

Commercial construction

The group's general contractor. Because the developer and the builder are the same house, cost decisions and their consequences sit with one team.

TruLife Homes

Luxury custom homes

Designs and builds custom homes for private clients across North Texas.

Matt Farris is a second-generation builder — his father built homes in these same communities, and the standard has not moved.

Started to serve the communities we build. The charitable arm of TruLife Group gives where the companies work, and operates independently of their commercial activity.

How the companies work together

We design it, we build it, and we own it alongside our partners.

Most sponsors hold one seat at the table. On a TruLife community the developer, the general contractor, and a co-investor are the same house — so cost decisions and their consequences sit with one team.

TruLife Build
We started TruLife to do the whole job — find the land, design the community, build it ourselves, and stay in it alongside our partners. That is harder than handing construction to the low bidder. It is also the only way we know to be accountable for how a place turns out.
